Lot 1367

1804. Small 8, BD-2, Rarity 4+. PCGS graded EF-45. Nicely toned with classic orange gold hues throughout. The surfaces are sweet, no adjustment marks or handling issues, just limited smooth wear. The reverse die was previously used to strike half eagles in 1803 prior to striking this coin. Notice the thin die crack through the E of AMERICA to the shield. An impressive coin that is wonderfully fresh. Only 30,475 struck (PCGS # 8085) Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500

Unsold
