1830. PCGS graded AU-53. Nice even toning of classic orange gold with frosty luster in the fields and a bold stirke on all of Liberty's curls and the eagle's wings. A rare type coin which suffered nearly complete melting of the entire issue, but a few did survive and this is one of those lucky coins. A classic type coin rarity that is seldom offered. Only 4,540 struck, with 80 to 120 examples estimated to have survived according to PCGS Pop Report. Pop 4; 65 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 7670) Estimated Value $9,000 - UP
