Lot 109

1820/19 N-2 R2 Overdate Small 20 over 19 PCGS graded AU55. Choice medium chocolate brown with frosty lighter steel brown toning in protected areas, particularly on the obverse. The surfaces are lustrous and this cent looks mint state, but there is a bit of friction on the highpoints. The only notable mark is a thin horizontal nick over the 8 in the date. M-LDS with flowlined fields. The overdate feature is dull but remains visible on both digits. A nice cent that comes with an excellent provenance. Graded EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#19 in the Noyes census, his photo #22256. Our grade is EF45. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36682. Estimated Value $700 - UP
