Lot 104

1819 N-7 R4 PCGS AU Detail Environmental Damage. Glossy dark olive brown with frosty flowline luster covering the fields and protected areas. The only notable marks are a thin vertical nick off the bust tip, a few tiny ticks on the rim at star 5, and a small nick or planchet chip in the center of the cheek. MDS with fine die rust covering the reverse (tiny lumps on the coin, not to be confused with corrosion or "Environmental Damage"), as always in this die marriage. A nice cent in spite of the relatively dark toning. Our grade is EF40, at the lower end of the condition census for this tough die variety. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36646. Estimated Value $700 - UP
