Sasanian Kingdom. Khusru II. Silver Drachm (4.08 g), AD 591-628. BYS (Bishapur), RY 26 (AD 616). Bust of Khusru II right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, two wings, and star-in-crescent, ribbons and crescents on shoulders; stars flanking crown. Reverse: Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. Cf. Malek 4; Göbl type II/3; Mochiri -; Paruck -; cf. Saeedi 282-3 (date).
