'Simon' (Paleo-Hebrew) within wreath of thin branches wrapped around eight almonds, with a medallion at top and tendrils at bottom. Reverse: 'Year two of the freedom of Israel' (Paleo-Hebrew), fluted jug with handle on left; in right field, willow branch. Hendin 1391 Apparently unlisted in Mildenberg. Obverse struck from a slipping die, virtually as struck. Lustrous. Superb Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $1,500 - UP
It has the same obverse as 1401/2 but the combination was omitted from the 5th edition by error.
