1843-O. Large letters. NGC graded AU-53. CAC. PQ. Well struck and nice for the grade with highly appealing smooth surfaces, only gentle circulation and rich orange gold color from decades of careful storage. The eye appeal on this coin is simply outstanding. A true collectors coin with fantastic surfaces. The Large Letters style seems to be more plentiful than the Small Letters, but both are quite rare in any Mint State grade. Only 82,000 struck. Pop 7; 60 finer at NGC.
