1893 Columbian Exposition World's Hygienic Exposition Chicago. Eglit-281, Gilt Bronze. Brilliant Uncirculated. Eglit lists this in bronze, however, it appears to be gilt bronze due to several spots of missing gilt revealing bronze underneath. Obverse features a beardless bust left of Columbus. The reverse features an eagle standing on a Federal shield with E PLURIBUS UNUM banner surrounded by WORLD'S HYGENIC EXPOSITION CHICAGO 1893. Engraved by LEMAIRE. Estimated Value $175 - UP
