1893 Columbian Exposition - Box Medal with Photographs inside. Eglit-134, Brass, Extra-Fine. This Box or Shell medal was made in Germany. The obverse fits into the reverse. When opened it consists of two separate shells. Originally had a ring in hole to keep shells together when open. Inside of obverse shell is a picture of Owings Building and in the reverse is a photo of Machinery Hall. Estimated Value $200 - UP
