Three Commemorative Medals with Ribbons. Extra-Fine & About Uncirculated. Three very nice medals in an unusual grouping attached by red, white and blue ribbons sewn together. The top medal is U.S. Grant Monument, Riverside Park, New York in white metal. It appears to be a proof and is holed and suspended from decorative brass pin back bar. Below that medal is a 1892 Columbus Bust/Landing Scene medal attributed as HK-236 and Eglit-432 in white metal. It is holed and suspended from a second ribbon that attached to previous medal. The lowest medal is a 1883 Washington's Headquarters at Newburgh, NY., Proclamation of Peace, Disbandment of Army Centennials medal attributed as HK-135 and Baker-R-456 in white metal. It is holed and suspended for a longer ribbon that is sewn to the other ribbons. All housed in a specimen preservation box. Estimated Value $200 - UP
