1923-S. NGC graded MS-66. Star. Well struck. Lovely rainbow toning on both sides of concentric circles of color. Fantastic gem quality too, with mark free surfaces and extraordinary eye appeal. This 1923-S is a key date issue and this is one of the finest to survive with precious few competitors. Although over 6 million were struck, virtually all of these entered circulation and only a small group apparently were saved in high grades. This one is destined for an advanced certified collection and will take its place with high honors for this issue in a top Buffalo nickel collection. Pop 1; 1 finer in 66+.
