1854 N-11 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous tan and golden light olive. No spots, stains, or contact marks. The only notable mark is a thin planchet flake on the rim under the end of the wreath ribbon (as struck). M-LDS, die state c. The fields are covered with fine die flowlines. The hair at the top of the ear is not fully struck (as always on this variety); otherwise this cent is choice. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 6 finer: 1 in 64+, 2 in 65, 3 in 66. Value $300 - UP
