1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1 PCGS graded MS65+ Brown, CAC Approved. Choice lustrous light olive and steel with mint red covering 10% of the planchet, mostly on the reverse. Satiny mint frost covers this cent, even the highest points of the devices, and the eye appeal is outstanding. No spots, stains, or notable contact marks. MDS, die state b. The repunching at the bottom of the 1 is still visible but the small points to the left from the E in CENT are gone. Our grade is MS63. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; none finer in BN. Value $375 - UP
