Lot 848

1850 N-11 R3 AU58. A sharp mint state cent that was recolored frosty reddish brown and chocolate. Nearly flawless otherwise. The best identifying mark is a tiny planchet chip on the rim over the D in UNITED. Very early die state with smooth, very slightly reflective fields. A neat die state and a very sharp example of a variety that's difficult to find in mint state. Value $275 - UP
