1849 N-14 R3- PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown and steel with mint red showing on 5% of the obverse, 20% of the reverse. No spots or stains, just a few trivial contact marks. A small nick on the upper lip can help identify this cent. M-LDS, die state c, with fine die cracks at MERIC. Previously housed in an NGC holder graded MS64RB (NGC label #337268-010). Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; none finer in BN at PCGS. Value $400 - UP
