1848 N-20 R3- Repunched 48 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Frosty uniform light to medium brown. The only marks are a few microscopic ticks on the nose and cheek plus a spot of darker toning (not carbon) at the end of the wreath ribbon. Nicely struck M-LDS, die state b. The tops of the C & E in CENT are joined by crumbling and the repunching on the 48 is clear. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
