1842 N-8 R1 Large Date PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty steel and olive brown. Satiny mint luster covers this cent and the eye appeal is excellent. Sharply struck and the only notable mark is a tiny nick close over the 2 in the date. EDS, die state a, with many die lines at ONE CENT. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 5 finer: 4 in 64, 1 in 66. Value $450 - UP
