1841 N-6 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with 10% of the planchet showing mint red, mostly on the reverse. No spots or stains. The only marks are a dull diagonal nick under the end of the nose and a thin diagonal nick right of the eye. M-LDS, die state c early. The die lines at the portrait are dull but visible and there is subtle swelling in the obverse fields. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 2 finer: 1 in 64, 1 in 66+. Value $700 - UP
