1840 N-6 R1 Large Date Repunched 40 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous medium steel brown with faded mint red showing in the protected areas on both sides. No notable marks other than a tiny planchet flake off the upper right point of star 12 that can help identify this cent. M-LDS, die state c. The repunching on the 40 is weak but visible. A nice cent. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Matthews Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer: 1 in 65+,1 in 66. Value $500 - UP
