Lot 690
1833 N-2 R2 NGC graded MS63 Brown. Frosty light steel brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Hints of underlying very faded mint color can be found on the reverse. The only notable marks are a small patch of dark toning on the highest point of the cheek and a spot of similar toning in the dentils over the A in STATES. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the very highest points of the portrait. MDS with die cracks on both sides. The repunching on several letters of ONE CENT is sharp. Our grade is AU58. Pop 26; 69 finer at NGC. Value $400 - UP
