Lot 573

1832 N-1 R2 Medium Letters. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. Choice lustrous steel and chocolate brown with lighter brown toning in some of the protected areas. This cent has mint state eye appeal but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. The only notable marks are some shallow voids on the rim at stars 1-3 and on the opposing part of the rim over ED S, all as struck. MDS. The fields are lightly flowlines but the two die lines from the leaf tip under the first A in AMERICA are visible. Our grade is AU58+, very close to MS60. The attribution and Widok Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 2 finer: 1 in 65+, 1 in 66. (PCGS # 37012) Value $600 - UP
