Lot 572

1830 N-7 R3 Large Letters VF30. Five points sharper but there are some fine scratches in the field above the head, a few more in the field before the forehead, and a couple more over the N in ONE. Otherwise this cent is choice and the color is a very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. There is very little actual wear on this cent, but the strike is soft as always on this variety. Fine flowline luster covers the fields on both sides. LDS. The die crack from the dentils to the bust tip extends to the curl over the 0 in the date. Graded EF40 net VF30 and tied for CC#6 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #32058. Value $450 - UP
