1808 S-279 R1 G4. Partly glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter chocolate brown toning on the devices. The surfaces are a bit dull thanks to microscopic roughness and there are a few contact marks but no verdigris. A diagonal planchet fissure or old scratch on the truncation is the only significant mark. Struck 10% off center to K-6.5 leaving most of the date off the planchet but faint traces of the upper part of the date are visible. Value $200 - UP
