1849 C-1 R2- Large Date. PCGS graded AU-55. CAC. Glossy light to medium brown with light chocolate toning on the highpoints. No spots or stains, just a few small contact marks. The notable ones are a thin nick before the mouth and another in the field near the throat. Scarce EDS, Manley 1.0, with a double outline under the peak of the 1 and fine diagonal die lines over NI in UNITED. In fact the date and many of the stars show fine doubling from die bounce or twist (not a doubled die). Our grade is EF45. The attribution and Widok Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 12 finer. (PCGS # 35318) Value $200 - UP
