1795 C-3 R5+ Punctuated Date, Plain Edge AG3. Several points sharper but there is a chip out of the planchet (as struck) and the initials "JT" have been lightly scratched inside the wreath. There are a few fine scratches on the obverse as well and a planchet chip in the hair at the top of the head. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and the toning is a very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. LDS, Manley state 2.0, with the usual weakness inside the wreath. Otherwise the date and legends are complete and clear. Value $450 - UP
