1795 C-3 R5+ Punctuated Date, Plain Edge VG8. Sharpness near F12 but lightly cleaned, now toned a rather glossy light to medium steel brown. No corrosion or verdigris, but there are some very light hairlines from the cleaning. The notable marks are a small planchet flake on the rim below the fraction and a minor rim bruise left of the O in OF. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with the usual weakness in the center of the reverse. Otherwise the date and legends are strong. Value $2,750 - UP
