1794 C-2b R6 Large Edge Letters G4. Several points sharper with fine roughness scattered over the planchet, although the right half of the obverse is mostly smooth. The color is an attractive medium brown with specks of chocolate brown in protected areas, and the surfaces are rather glossy in spite of the fine roughness. The date is strong and the legends are clear except for the usual weakness at the bottom of the reverse. LDS, Manley state 3.0, with strong die clashmarks on the obverse and a narrow rim cud break at the top of the obverse. The large edge letters are strong. Value $1,500 - UP
