1857 N-1 R1 Large Date. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. CAC. Attractive glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate with generous traces of mint red remaining visible on both sides. No spots or stains. The only notable marks are a small tick in the center of the neck, a few small rim nicks at stars 11-13, and a few more tiny rim nicks at MER. LDS, die state b. The stray digits in the dentils below the 18 and the die lines over NI in UNITED are gone. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 2 finer: 1 in 64+, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 389634) Value $650 - UP
