1853 N-18 R1. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. CAC. Frosty steel brown with a third of the planchet showing mint color. Just a few trivial marks including a spot of darker toning between the coronet and star 5, another left of star 7, and a tiny vertical tick on the truncation above the 8. E-MDS, die state a, with myriad die lines in the field from the main and inner curls. Our grade is MS63+, tied for CC#4 for the variety in the Grellman census but finest of die state a. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; none finer in BN at PCGS. (PCGS # 406021) Value $750 - UP
