1852 N-15 R3. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. CAC. Frosty light steel brown with very faded mint color showing through in the fields and protected areas on about 20% of the planchet. Only a few trivial marks including a tiny tick over the nostril and a small puff of slightly darker toning between star 3 and the nose. LDS, die state b. The fields are flowlined and the die lines at NE in ONE are gone. In addition there is a narrow but clearly defined rim cud break from star 9 to star 10. Our grade is MS62, tied for CC#6 in the Grellman census. Previously housed in an NGC slab graded MS65RB (NGC label #402144-001). The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 65 (PCGS # 147266) Value $700 - UP
