1843 N-5 R2 Mature Hd, Rev of 1844. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. CAC. Lustrous light chocolate and olive brown with 20% of the planchet showing slightly faded mint red, mostly on the reverse. Nicely struck and void of any distracting marks. A thin diagonal nick close under star 10 can help identify this cent. EDS, die state a, with sharp die lines over MER in AMERICA. Our grade is MS63, tied for CC#2 in the Grellman census. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 65+ (PCGS # 405848) Value $1,500 - UP
