1839 N-10 R3 Booby Head. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown+ Brown. CAC. Choice lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with peeps of faded mint red showing on both sides. The surfaces are smooth and essentially flawless giving this cent superb eye appeal. A microscopic tick on the rim over star 7 and a thin diagonal nick right of the D in UNITED are the only marks, and they are trivial. MDS with microscopic radial die flowlines from the dentil tips on both sides. A superior example of a tough die variety. Noyes graded MS62 and tied for CC#1, his photo #39832.
