Lot 243

1836 N-5 R3. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Frosty olive brown and steel. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has great eye appeal. The only marks are two tiny planchet chips near the dentil tips over star 11 (as struck). Essentially a flawless cent, but the color is a bit darker than you like for a choice piece. MDS with a die crack through OF AMERICA. The repunching on the base of the E in STATES is clear. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 1 finer in 65 (PCGS # 37123) Value $750 - UP
