1857. NGC graded MS-64. A fully white example that offers bold eye appeal, a sharp strike and clean surfaces. The reverse shows a few faint adjustments on the upper left, where the planchet was too heavy and slightly filed down by the Mint prior to being struck. These trace lines often fade away but are sometimes still seen on mint-fresh uncirculated coins like this. A tough date to find at all, and rarely seen this nice. Only 94,000 struck.
