Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 115

Lot 1155

1882. PCGS graded MS-66. A very frosty example. Lovely rainbow toning around the edges of the obverse and reverse with the centers bright silver and satiny. Close examination finds a few trivial handling marks, as one would expect for a coin of this size and age, but only enough to nudge it back from the superb grade level. All in all, a stellar example of this key date in outstanding condition with fantastic eye appeal. Only 4,400 struck. Pop 9; 3 finer, 2 in 67, 1 in 68. (PCGS # 6364) Value $4,500 - 5,000

Realized $5,760
