1831. PCGS graded MS-65. Well struck on the central devices and most of the peripheral stars and letters too. The color is a blend of old tawny gold toning mixed with light grey shades. Clean surfaces and fields, and a delight to examine for the unmarked nature of the surfaces, rarely are the early Capped Bust half dollars found so well preserved. Pop 64; 11 finer at PCGS.
