1812, 2 over 1. Small 8. Overton-102, Rarity 2. PCGS graded MS-64+. A glorious example of this scarce overdate and a coin which is rarely found so close to the gem grade. Hence we expect this one to receive considerable attention when it crosses the block, for its is not only stunning in quality, but a handsomely toned example as well. Lovely rainbow toning with deeper blue around the rims fading to lighter russet and gold at the centers, on both sides.
