1872-CC. NGC graded AU-55. Fully white, softly struck around the right obverse legend on OF AMER which is opposite a thicker portion of the reverse wreath. Only 35,480 struck, and this is one of the truly tough dates to find for collectors of this series. Rarely are these early Carson City dimes found this nice and approaching mint condition. A prize that is destined for an advanced collection where it will be long treasured. This is one of the top graded examples today, and a condition rarity that will highlight any advanced collection.
