1858. PCGS graded Proof 66. CAC. PQ. The holder shows some scratches and the coin looks almost perfect. Housed in an Old Green Holder. Outstanding quality and rather deeply toned as sometimes seen on these early proof coins. The strike is bold and precise, with all the definition crisply defined on both sides. This is a highly desirable example of this elusive, low mintage proof coin. Only 300 or so struck, with about 50 to 70 examples estimated to have survived by PCGS Pop Report.
