Collection of Richard "Dick" Underwood: Personal Collection of 40 Original Apollo Transparencies from Apollo 11-17. Richard "Dick" Underwood was chief engineer on the production of the first topographic maps of the moon. He was the first person to view every photograph from the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and the first 23 space shuttle missions. He also provided technical training to every astronaut who went into space in the twentieth century. Further, he toured the world giving over 1500 lectures on NASA and the space program earning legions of fans. Offered are a small collection of original Apollo mission transparencies, 18 are oversized the others, 4 x 4" Hasselblad film. There is even a small clutch of transparencies with Dick Underwood with other NASA personnel examining original rolls of film. Estimated Value $250 - UP
