Collection of Richard "Dick" Underwood: Personal Binder of Apollo 11 Photographs 36 Total. Richard "Dick" Underwood was chief engineer on the production of the first topographic maps of the moon. He was the first person to view every photograph from the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and the first 23 space shuttle missions. He also provided technical training to every astronaut who went into space in the twentieth century. Further, he toured the world giving over 1500 lectures on NASA and the space program earning legions of fans. Offered is his personal binder of Apollo 11 photographs which definitely show evidence of humidity and silverfish that go hand in hand with living in and around Houston, Texas. But the photos are in excellent condition having been individually sleeved and know there are numerous images that we are not sure have been seen, or at the very least, widely circulated. Mix of black and white and color, the lunar photographs especially great still conveying awe at such a miraculous achievement in exploration. A great archive of photos from the first moon landing for every level of collector or dealer. Estimated Value $400 - UP
