Apollo Related: Framed Fragments From Moon and Mars Meteorites. The two most desirable meteorites come from the Moon and Mars. The only way to own a piece of the Moon and Mars is to acquire a part of one of the rare meteorites that originated when a very large meteorite impacted their surface ejecting small rocks out into space that eventually made their way to Earth as a meteorite. This 13 x 7" black frame ready for hanging contains two small fragments of meteorites from the Moon and Mars. The Lunar fragment is from Dhofar 461 a lunar anorthosite melt breccia and the Mars fragment is from Dhofar 19 a Marsian basalt (Shergotite). Estimated Value $200 - UP
