Lyndon B. Johnson Signed First Day Cover "US Space Achievements" September 29, 1967 With COA. Lyndon B. Johnson, as Vice-President had an outsized role in the formation and funding of NASA and proved one of the most significant and influential champions of Americans in space. Offered is a scarce, boldly signed cover for the First Day of Issue 5¢ stamps saluting United States Space Achievements. Notation of Johnson's influence and Vice-President and as President was typed on the cover by the collector in the 1960s. Signature by Johnson has been authenticated by James Spence Authentication and this cover comes with the full LOA. Regarding space related ephemera with a Lyndon Johnson signature, this is one of the very few that have passed certification with most being auto-pen or secretarial. Estimated Value $600 - UP
