Four (4) Scarce, Orville Wright Signed 25th Anniversary Commemorative Covers Postmarked Dec 17, 1928 Kitty Hawk, N.C. Commemorating the Silver Anniversary of the First Airplane Flight made by The Wright Brothers on Dec. 17, 1903 at Kitty Hawk, we are offering four (4) of these rare, anniversary issues postmarked exactly 25 years later on December 17th, 1928 and all hand signed by Orville Wright in black fountain pen ink. These were all addressed to the same residence of R.E. Lipsner of Chicago, Illinois. B. B. Lipsner a member of the International Civil Aeronautics Conference called by President Calvin Coolidge to mark the first quarter century of human flight accompanied Orville Wright from Washington D.C. to Kill Devil Hill, N.C. had him sign these during the pilgrimage and mailed from North Carolina. Lipsner also signed in green fountain pen ink on lower left side as Capt. B.B. Lipsner The history of these 4 signed covers is printed on verso of envelope. All four are in superior condition, have great visual appeal and highly prized by collectors of early aviation and philately. Estimated Value $1,200 - UP
