Russian Lacquer Boxes: Two Lovely Examples of Russian Decoupage with Striking Hand Painted Enhancements to the Ballerina's Tutus. Two superior Russian lacquer boxes from Fedoskino each adorned with beautiful Russian decoupage images of ballerinas boasting extremely fine enhancements, not in gilt but in thin white strokes throughout the tulle of the dress and bodice. Both by the same artist from the Russian Collection, a co-operative founded in 1991 of young artists carrying on the traditions of the craftsman before them. 1¼ x 4 x 3" and in mint condition.
