Russian Lacquer Boxes: Five Beautiful Boxes of Various Shapes, Four From Palekh, One from Fedoskino. Five wonderful Russian lacquer boxes: 1. Largest box, slightly bean shaped fully hand painted of a sleigh of musicians; 1½ x 3½ x 6½"/ 2.) Oval box hand painted with three prancing horses being led by a pied piper, clearly inspired by a folktale. 3.) Rectangular box of horseman coming upon a woman in a tent, again inspired by a folktale. 1 x 2¾ x 5¼". 4.) Smallest box, a woman in winter finery and fur, rabbits at her feet in a forest. 1 x 3½ x 2¼" 5.) Interesting pot of two woman creating wool yarn beautifully enhanced with gold leaf in their apparel and gilt gold paint highlights 3 x 2 x 2". All in mint condition. Estimated Value $600 - UP
