Charming 34 Page, 19th Century Chinese Woodblock Prints, Possibly For Children. Fine collection of Chinese woodblock prints, likely late 19th Century and likely removed decades past from a bound volume. Each of the 34 woodblocks explains a profession/employment demonstrating the diversity of jobs that were common in China. There are musicians, vendors, weavers, performers, candle makers, cooks, cabinet makers and the like. The same artist created all 34 images and the image area are pressed into a larger sheet creating the effect of a frame. Each work is sleeved into a vintage album and are in overall fine condition, some exhibiting mild toning and mild creasing. Actual images are 7 x 7" and the full sheets 11 x 11".
