Itzchak (Isaac) Tarkay. Seated Woman (Signed Limited Edition). (1935-2012) Popular and prolific Israeli artist Tarkay focused on the female figure by using simplicity of form and line, along with a rich palette quite similar to Toulouse-Lautrec, to create sensitive portraits of elusive ladies but using remarkably bold colors. "Seated Woman" is a limited edition lithograph on Arches paper, #305/350, 13 x 16½" beautifully matted and framed to 24 x 28" in gilt wood. In excellent condition and quite lovely. Artist has signed his name in pencil in lower right corner. Estimated Value $350 - UP
