Itzchak Tarkay. Red Hat (Printer's Proof 12/15) + Cafe Trio (HC 44/48) + 2 Serigraphs. (1935-2012) Popular and prolific Israeli artist Tarkay focused on the female figure by using simplicity of form and line, along with a rich palette quite similar to Toulouse Lautrec, to create sensitive portraits of elusive ladies but using remarkably bold colors. 1.) "Red Hat" is a limited edition oversized lithograph, 18½ x 18½" full bleed printer's proof 12/15 and absolutely beautiful. Artist has signed in white wax pencil in lower right corner. 2.) "Cafe Trio" signed limited edition (HC 44/48) 12¼ x 12¼" with artist signing in pencil in lower right margin. 3.) There are two serigraphs (gallery certificates included) of his most popular composition "Two by Two" of two tables at a cafe, each occupied by two stylish ladies, 19 x 23", artist's name signed in plate. All four pieces are in mint condition and ready for framing. Outstanding opportunity for decorators, dealers and galleries. Estimated Value $300 - UP
