Henri Matisse. Seated Nude Back View (1949). (1869-1954) After Henri Matisse, the most famous exponent of the Fauves movement. This composition is part of the special edition of his lithographic works "Matisse - Papiers peints découpés". The nude woman seen from the back is the subject of the artwork. The artist's forms and curves with his simple stretched lines is very evident in this wonderful fine art reproduction on heavyweight rag paper based on the original edition of 200 issued in 1949 numbered in Roman numerals. This posthumous lithograph has been beautifully matted and presented in gilt wood. 15 x 11" and in excellent condition. Estimated Value $1,250 - UP
